Using the term Communication Assistant
Participants who successfully complete the course:
- are not qualified to work as Communication Disorders Assistants, who provide clinical services under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- should avoid using Communication Assistant as a professional title beside or under their name
- can state that they took an online course from CDAC but are not accredited by CDAC
